as a girl i was a tomboy. i wore a cowboy hat and rode my aunty lesley's horse, Seantelle,
through fields in the outskirts of edinburgh. A sixteen hander, i rode her once to the shop
and bought a packet of 10 Embassy Blue, my first packet. i couldn't get one lit because i hadn't yet learned how to shield my Scottish Bluebell from the fierce north wind. anyway, i was about thirteen at that point and not long 'til i threw away the horses and learned how to smoke proper, secretly like a cowboy.
